After serving as an Intelligence Specialist in the California Air National Guard, where he briefed and debriefed F-16 Fighter Pilots, John explored the corporate sector but soon realized it wasn’t his calling. This led him to travel extensively, visiting over 85 countries and immersing himself in various cultures.
In 2000, John’s passion for travel and culture culminated in the establishment of Tulum’s first hostel, which he successfully operated until 2015. Over the past 25 years, he has initiated several businesses, and he is now focusing on real estate. Residing in Querétaro, Mexico, John enjoys reading, writing, savoring red wine, and hiking in the region’s scenic landscapes.
